In the summer of 2015, the lead designer of Maison—House took a sabbatical year off of high-stress tech jobs in silicon valley and went to live in France. Although the romantic city of light — Paris was his favorite, it was the enchanting allure of the French Riviera that forever cast his heart in France. The charming sea-side lifestyle of the Cote d'Azur, and the slow savoring way of living. It was during this time he discovered Grasse, the perfume capital of the world. His learning about the perfume houses and the distillation of high-quality ingredients for personal and home fragrances made a lasting impression. After finding his way back to the States, he landed in NY to create the foundation of Maison—House, designing sumptuous French-inspired and New York influenced products. The offering started with fine jewelry and slowly evolved to capture the mesmerizing scented experiences and creations inspired by his travels worldwide.
